Give the day a color in one tap, then write as much or as little as you like. Watch a year of feeling take shape — quietly, privately, and entirely on your terms.
Sgibbt is a journal that begins with a color. Give the day one — a single tap — and write only if you feel like it. Some days that's a page. Most days it's a line. Both count.
• A color a day
Start with six: Calm, Bright, Tender, Content, Dreamy, Heavy. Tap the one today felt like and you're finished. The whole ritual takes a second, which is exactly why it survives the days you have nothing left to give it.
• Write a little, or nothing at all
Add a title, a paragraph, or neither. When the page feels blank, a prompt is waiting — "What softened you today?", "Name three small things that went right." — grouped into Reflection, Gratitude, Feelings and Looking back. Write your own prompts, or switch them off completely.
• Say it out loud
Record a voice note on the days typing is too much. It saves with the page and syncs with it, and voice notes can be switched off in Settings.
• Watch a year take shape
Every color you give a day lands on your calendar, and the months fill in. A gentle streak counts the days you have colored in a row, and it never reads zero just because today is still blank. Nothing here is scored.
• Insights, not grades
Each month gets a quiet summary: your color spectrum, the pages you wrote, and the days you colored. A sentence describes the mix — whether one color led, two shared the month, or it stayed varied — and sometimes notes what changed since the month before. Nothing here ranks you.
• Your words for your feelings
Don't like "Frayed"? Call it "Frazzled". Rename any color and the whole app follows, exports included. When six colors stop being enough, add more from a curated palette.
• Private by default
Your journal lives in your own iCloud and syncs between your iPhone and iPad. With Plus you can lock it behind Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode, and export every page as plain text whenever you want it somewhere else.
• Sgibbt Plus
The daily loop is always free — today's color and today's page, for as long as you use the app. Free also gives you a page a day, five voice notes, two months of color history and the current month's summary. Plus lifts every one of those: unlimited pages and voice notes, your whole history, a summary for every month, the twelve extra colors, app lock and export.
Available weekly, yearly, or once for life.
