WHAT MAKES DEJA CAREFUL

Most cleaners show you a number and a big delete button. Deja shows you what SURVIVES. Before anything is deleted, you see the photo that stays in every group — so you are confirming something you can actually check, not agreeing to a number you can't.

• Deja can never delete every copy of a photo. One always stays, and that rule is built into the app's core, not just its screens. • Favourites are never suggested for deletion. If you select one yourself, Deja tells you before you confirm — not after. • If you override Deja's suggested keeper, the confirmation screen says so. • Deleted photos go to Recently Deleted in Photos, recoverable for 30 days. • If Deja couldn't check part of your library — photos stored only in iCloud, for instance — it tells you, instead of pretending your library is clean.
