The official Canal Motorboats app for your own boat trip through the Amsterdam canals. Pick your departure pier (Zandhoek, Westerdoksdijk, Nassaukade, Westerpark or Borneosteiger) and sail the Royal Route or the Artis Route with spoken stories at every highlight.

What the app does:

• Two official routes per pier, with map, stops and photos
• Live navigation on the map, the boat always in view and your heading up
• Spoken stories that start by themselves as you approach a highlight, also with the screen off
• Waterways: current closures, sailing rules and public toilets along the water
• A quiz and fun facts about the canals
• Dutch and English

The app is meant for Canal Motorboats renters. Before you leave you enter your boat number and name, so Canal Motorboats knows which boat is where. Your location is only used during the trip.
