Backing Tracks & Stage Cues
One tap, the cue fires. No latency, no internet, no panic. Live mode locks the screen so the show survives whatever the night throws at it.
Your whole set, one tap away.
VisualGIG turns your iPhone into a cue player for live performance. Build your
sets at home, walk in, hit Live — and every track you need is one tap from the
front of house.
No accounts. No streaming. No waiting on a signal that isn't there.
LIVE MODE IS A DIFFERENT SCREEN
Because a stage is not a desk.
Enter Live and the app strips down to what matters: your pads, what's playing,
and the clock. Nothing to edit, nothing to navigate, nothing to tap by accident.
• The screen never sleeps — no black display in the middle of a song
• Pads keep the exact positions they had while you built the set, so your muscle
memory still works
• The next cue is marked NEXT, so you know where your thumb goes before you need it
• A live timecode runs inside the playing pad and in the Now Playing panel
• Getting out takes a deliberate one-second hold — a bumped screen can't drop you
out mid-show
And before you go live, VisualGIG reminds you to switch on airplane mode. One
incoming call is all it takes to duck your audio in front of a room. Tell it you
know what you're doing and it will never ask again.
BUILT TO FIRE INSTANTLY
Every audio file in your set is opened, decoded and armed the moment you open it
— not when you press the pad. The engine runs on a short buffer, so the sound
starts when your finger lands, not a beat later.
Your files are copied into the app and played from the device. Airplane mode,
dead venue Wi-Fi, no bars in the basement: none of it reaches your show.
BUILDING A SET
• Create a set for each night — name it, note the venue, give it a colour
• Add a pad per cue, drop in the audio, label it, colour it
• Import WAV, AIFF, MP3 or M4A straight from Files, iCloud Drive or anywhere else
the picker reaches
• Audition anything before you commit it to a pad
• Tap to edit a pad, hold to remove it
• Transport bar with scrub position, elapsed and remaining time, pause and stop
• Pause holds your place; hitting play again picks up instantly
FOR PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY GIG
Worship teams running service tracks. Theatre and dance running sound cues.
Wedding and event DJs. Solo players with backing tracks. Anyone who has ever
watched a laptop decide to update itself twenty minutes before doors.
WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
One cue at a time. VisualGIG plays a single pad, and starting the next one stops
the last — it's a cue player, not a mixer. There's no crossfade, no layering, no
MIDI, and nothing syncs to the cloud. Your sets live on your device.
That's on purpose. Fewer things to go wrong at 9pm.
