Remora is a personal memory companion. Not a notes app, not a to-do list, not a journal. It answers one question: what was it that I wanted to remember?

YOU NEVER FILE ANYTHING No folders. No categories. No tags to invent and forget. Remora reads what you gave it and works out what it is: a receipt, a parking spot, a serial number, a wifi password, where you put the passport.

FINDING IT AGAIN Ask for it the way you remember it, not the way you filed it. Type "car" and the parking photo comes back. Type "meter" and every meter reading does. Remora knows that a receipt is also an invoice, in all 26 languages it speaks.

WHAT IT KNOWS HOW TO READ Text in photographs, so a receipt becomes a shop, a date and an amount. What you said, transcribed on your iPhone as you speak. Names, places, amounts, dates, serial numbers, licence plates, IBANs, wifi passwords, room and locker numbers.

NO BACKEND There is no account and no server. Nothing you save is uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload it to. There is no company-side database to breach and nothing to subpoena, because there is nothing. Everything lives on your iPhone and in your own backup. Export everything whenever you like: a zip holding your memories as JSON and CSV, plus your original photos and recordings. Deleted memories wait thirty days in Trash before they go. No notifications, apart from one on the day before your seven days end.

WITHOUT OPENING THE APP A Home Screen widget and a Lock Screen widget go straight to the way in you want. Siri can save a spoken memory and search your memories for you.

The price for your country is shown on this page and in the app before anything is charged. If you never pay, everything you have already saved stays readable, searchable and exportable. Forever. Only saving new memories needs Premium.

Remora Premium, yearly: EUR 18.00 per year, an auto-renewing subscription of one year. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically at EUR 18.00 unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period. You can manage the subscription and turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
