Plague mist has crept up the valley and the beasts have fallen sick. You are the young apothecary of a mountain still room, and your remedy dice are the only medicine that travels. Roll them, hold what fits, reroll the rest — then administer.

ROLL, HOLD, ADMINISTER Five dice, two rerolls, one turn. Every face is a remedy: Grind, Ward, Mend, Infuse, Forage. Read what the affliction is about to do, hold the faces that answer it, and send the rest back.

BUILD THE DICE, NOT A DECK Labels overwrite faces mid-expedition. Relics bend the rules. Remedies fire on their own when your dice line up three of a kind, a run, a wall of Ward. By the last layer of the road your pack is nothing like the one you set out with.

MIND THE FURNACE Every reroll stokes the fire. Boil over and the brew burns you; keep the heat low and a whole family of relics wakes up. The bravest reroll is always the last one.
