Appointed Duty: Prayer Alarm

Appointed Duty wakes you for prayer with real alarms, not notifications. An alarm rings full screen on the lock screen, breaks through silent mode and Focus, and keeps ringing until you stop it.

Your times come from your masjid, not a formula. Search masjids worldwide, or add a private masjid with a code so the imam's own iqamah times reach the whole congregation.

ALARMS THAT ACTUALLY WAKE YOU

• One alarm per prayer, each with its own offset from adhan or iqamah
• Pre-alerts and reminders ahead of jamaah
• Snooze that can never push you past the prayer
• A gentle tap mission for Fajr, so a half-asleep dismissal stays deliberate

YOUR MASJID'S TIMETABLE

• Worldwide masjid search by name, city, or location
• Private masjids join by code, and iqamah changes arrive on their own
• Hijri calendar, per-masjid timezones, Hanafi Asr

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN

• Timetable widgets for the home and lock screen
• A countdown Live Activity with snooze in the Dynamic Island

In English, Arabic, and Turkish. No account, no ads.

Appointed Duty needs iOS 26 or later. Real alarms use Apple's AlarmKit, which is what makes ringing through silent possible.
