Pack once. Forget nothing.
The packing list writes itself from the trip, fits the bag against 47 airlines, and plan your trip day by day. Plan suggestions for 139 places. Works on a plane.
Roam builds the packing list for the trip you're actually taking, then makes sure it fits the bag you own.
LISTS BUILT FOR THE TRIP
Tell Roam where you're going, how long for, and what you'll be doing. It writes the list — climate, bag size, activities, your own essentials. And it asks what it cannot know, like whether you'll do laundry, instead of guessing.
ONE TRIP, EVERY STOP
Add each stop and its nights and Roam writes one list for the route. Four nights in Reykjavík and three in Lisbon gets you a coat and shorts, not an average that leaves you with neither.
YOUR DAYS, NOT JUST YOUR BAG
Lay the trip out day by day and write what you mean to do — typed by you, so it works with no signal. Inside ten days each day shows the weather hour by hour. Tag a plan with an activity and Roam packs for it; delete it and what it added comes out.
THINGS TO DO, ALREADY WRITTEN
Roam has written 1,800 suggestions for 139 places across the United States and Europe, most with a photograph. Real things: the Lakefront Trail, a granita and brioche for breakfast in Sicily. Landmarks are named because those outlive us; anything whose answer is a business is described instead, because businesses close. Tap one and it's yours to rename, move to a day or delete. Bundled, so they work on a plane.
THE WEATHER FOR YOUR ACTUAL DATES
Beyond ten days Roam shows what the month is typically like; inside ten days, the real forecast. If the week turns wet it says what to add — a suggestion you accept or dismiss, never a rewrite of a list you are halfway through. 630 places carry offline climate.
BAG FIT
Measure your bag once. Roam checks it against the published cabin limits for 47 airlines and says whether it fits, is borderline, or is going in the hold — before the airport, not at the gate. Give a trip its bags, file each item into one, and Roam grades them together: personal item, carry-on and checked case, each against its own allowance.
THE LISTS YOU KEEP
Save a list you'll want again — a whole list, or a bundle like the camera bag or the gym kit. Pick several when you start a trip and Roam merges them, keeping one row for anything they share. Or drop one onto a trip under way.
PACK WITH SOMEONE ELSE
Share a trip with whoever you're going with — both of you need Roam. You each keep your own list, and things only one of you must bring sit in a shared section: nobody packs two, nobody packs none.
TRAVEL PASSPORT
Every country you've visited, on a world map — 247 of them. Finish a trip and its country is yours; scratch the flag off to add it. Zoom in and the United States opens into all fifty states and the District, Canada into its ten provinces and three territories, filled in by the cities on your trips. Turn the passport over for how far your finished trips add up to — always a range, never a made-up number.
IT LEARNS WHAT YOU DON'T USE
Mark what you never touched and Roam suggests it less for trips like that one. Never on one trip alone, and it can all be undone. Widgets in three sizes, and packing progress on the Lock Screen before you go.
NO ACCOUNT. YOUR TRIPS STAY YOURS.
No sign-up, no password, no profile on a server. Your trips, bags and countries live on your iPhone and are copied to your own iCloud — your account, not ours — so a reinstall brings them back.
Roam includes advertising measurement so we can tell which ads bring people to it. iOS asks first, and declining changes nothing. The Privacy Policy says exactly what is sent.
