PaddockPal is a practical farm management application designed for farmers, farm managers, agricultural advisers, agronomists and authorised farm staff who need a simple way to manage pasture, grazing and paddock information. The app is particularly suited to dairy, beef and other pasture-based farming businesses where grazing decisions, paddock records and farm information need to be regularly updated and shared between the people involved in managing the farm. PaddockPal brings key farm-management activities together in one system. Core functionality includes:

A major focus of PaddockPal is grazing management. Users can record when paddocks are grazed, review previous grazing events, monitor pasture information and use rotation planning tools to assist with determining the order and timing of future grazing.

The interactive Farm Map provides a visual representation of the property and its paddocks. Paddocks are linked to their individual records so users can move between the physical farm layout and management information associated with each paddock.

PaddockPal provides a shared, centralised system where authorised users can access the same farm information. This is particularly useful where a farmer works with an external agricultural adviser or several people are involved in the day-to-day management of a farm.

A typical user may open PaddockPal to view their farm map, check which paddocks have recently been grazed, record a new grazing event, enter pasture cover measurements, review the grazing rotation, record a fertiliser or chemical application, review recommendations and access historical farm records.

Farm owners control access to their farms. Other users can be invited and assigned an appropriate farm role, allowing farmers, managers, staff and advisers to collaborate without every user requiring ownership of the farm.

PaddockPal is designed for practical use both in the field and for farm planning and advisory work. The objective is to make routine farm record keeping and pasture management easier while giving farmers and their advisers a clearer view of current and historical farm information.

PaddockPal supports subscription-based access for farm owners. New eligible users can commence with a 7-day trial before selecting a subscription. Trial users can evaluate the application's core farm-management functionality, while certain functions including printing, downloading and exporting are restricted during the trial. Invited farm managers, advisers and staff access farms according to permissions granted by the farm owner. PaddockPal is a farm management, record-keeping, planning and collaboration tool. It does not provide medical, financial or legal services or access to protected third-party material. Our aim is to help farmers and advisers keep important paddock, pasture and grazing information together so they can communicate effectively and make better-informed farm management decisions.
