Mechbox

Mechbox is block-based programming for real robots, right on the tablet. The app connects over Bluetooth to a LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 hub (and compatible hubs) as well as Mechbox controllers - and brings the mechanism your child built to life.

Kids build a mechanism from construction parts, connect the hub over Bluetooth and assemble a program from visual blocks: "start motor", "when tilted forward", "if distance is less than...". The program runs immediately on the real device - the motor spins, the light shines, the sensors respond.

COMPATIBILITY

Works with LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 and compatible hubs, and with Mechbox kits. A tablet alone is enough to learn programming without a kit. We recommend iPads with the A12 chip or newer; an internet connection is required.
