WE PUBLISH THE RESEARCH THAT DISAGREES WITH US

Most apps here imply the science is settled. It is not, and Beatline says so on the Science screen: the actual studies, their sample sizes, their effect sizes, and the ones that undercut us. The largest review found eight of fourteen studies contradicted the entrainment hypothesis, so a beat at a given rate does not reliably drive the brain to that rate. That is in the app, for free, before you pay anything.

PRIVACY

No account, so there is nothing to sign in to and nothing to leak. No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking. No microphone access: the app generates sound, it never listens. Your settings stay on your phone.

Headphones or earbuds are needed for binaural beats to work at all. Everything else plays fine on a speaker.

Beatline is for relaxation and focus. It does not treat, diagnose, or cure any condition. If sleep or anxiety is affecting your life, speak to a doctor rather than an app.

SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

Beatline Pro is offered as a monthly subscription at $3.99 and a yearly subscription at $24.99, or as a one-off Lifetime unlock at $49.99 which does not renew. Prices are in US dollars and vary by territory.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. There is no free trial.
