SPECIES THAT ACTUALLY DIFFER Snook hold in a pass and feed hard on an outgoing tide. Sheepshead graze structure and don't care much about current. Tarpon aren't there at all in January. Each species carries its own tide preference, current dependence, season, and honest difficulty rating — because a great window for a low-percentage fish is still a low-percentage day.
