Features & Capabilities

The 1952 Mantle is worth more than every 1989 card ever printed. Buy raw, grade it, flip it, and read the market before it moves.

You're a card dealer. You start with $2,500 and a folding table.

Buy raw cards, pay to have them graded, and hold or flip as the market moves around you. Every price has a reason you can actually read — print run, era, scarcity, who the player was — instead of a number that changes because the game felt like it.

THE MARKET IS THE GAME

No customers to serve, no shop to decorate. You're reading a market and taking positions in it. Grading arbitrage, scarcity, hype cycles, and the long patience of vintage. Advance the week and the world moves: listings resolve, offers land and expire, submissions come back from grading, rival dealers' books drift.

JUNK WAX WILL TEACH YOU THE HARD WAY

1987 to 1994, the printers never stopped. Those cards are near-worthless even for the greatest players who ever lived — while a nobody's 1955 card has real value on scarcity alone. Buy on name recognition and you'll learn this with your own money.

THE 9 TO 10 CLIFF

Send a card to grading and wait. Come back a 9 and you made a little. Come back a 10 and you made a lot. The odds get worse the older the card is, which is exactly why the old tens are worth what they're worth.

WHAT YOU DO ALL DAY

  • Rip sealed product, from $25 rack packs to $110,000 briefcases
  • Buy whole collections sight-unseen and read every card before you value it
  • Work a singles market: buy at ask, or negotiate with cash, cards, or both
  • Build and name binders, sell them as lots, crack slabs back open
  • Submit to grading and sweat the return
  • Climb a leaderboard of 500 dealers whose books you can open and deal against

REAL PLAYERS, REAL CAREERS

Every player who ever played is in here, with the actual statistics they put up. Prestige is derived from what they did on the field — career, peak, awards, rings, the Hall — not from a hand-written list of who matters.

No real money. No cash value. Just you, a folding table, and a market that doesn't care how you feel about your inventory.

Player and career data derived from the Lahman Baseball Database.
