Features & Capabilities

GatitoSudoku is a cat sudoku logic puzzle — also known as Star Battle, Queens or Two Not Touch. Every level is pure deduction: never a lucky guess. Place exactly one cat per row, column and colour.

Every level is a grid split into coloured territories, and every one of them is solved by reasoning alone. Four rules apply at once:

• one cat per row • one cat per column • one cat per territory • no two cats may touch — not even diagonally

No numbers anywhere: this is the shape of Sudoku with cats in place of digits.

You never guess. You cross out what is impossible until a single square is left, and every placement tightens the board in a chain: it blocks a row, a column, a territory and the eight squares around it. Keep going and the answer becomes inevitable.

NEVER A LUCKY GUESS

Every hand-built level was checked three ways before it shipped: it has exactly one solution, and it can be solved step by step by reasoning alone. If you are stuck, there is something there to find. That is a guarantee, not a figure of speech.

BEAT THE CLOCK, KEEP THE CHANGE

Every level runs on a timer, set with room to think rather than room to panic. Whatever is left on the clock when the last cat lands is paid out in fish, so finishing sharply is worth something — and letting it run out costs a life, the same as running out of hearts.

HINTS THAT EXPLAIN, AND KEEP COMING BACK

Hints are never sold, for fish or for money. You get three, and another arrives for every three new levels you beat. The hint marks the square the next cat goes on and names the row, column or territory that forced it. That is the deduction, in one line: not a walkthrough, and never the rest of the board.

A CAMPAIGN THAT NEVER RUNS OUT

96 hand-verified boards open the road, and the road does not end there — chapters keep coming, eight levels each, from gentle 5×5 boards up to 12×12 monsters. The board size inside a chapter is deliberately unpredictable, so a small board can follow a large one and give you a breather — but the difficulty keeps climbing, and every chapter ends with a boss.

NO TIMERS, NO PRESSURE, WHENEVER YOU WANT

Not every session wants a clock. The calm run deals you a board off the road with no countdown and nothing at stake: a wrong cat costs you nothing but the time to think again, and there is no way to lose. Play it for as long as you like.

A NEW PUZZLE EVERY DAY

Today's puzzle is the same board for everyone, everywhere, and a new one arrives each day. Beat it and your streak grows. It needs no account and no connection — the date is the only thing it asks for.

DRAWN, NOT PHOTOGRAPHED

A soft plush cat, and everything around it — paw prints, hearts, stars, fish — drawn from shapes as you play, so it stays razor sharp on any screen and the whole game is a small download.

FEATURES

• A campaign with no end, opened by 96 hand-verified boards • Board sizes from 5×5 to 12×12 • A timer on every level, and fish for the time you have left • A calm run with no timer, and nothing to lose • A daily puzzle, the same one for every player • Free hints that keep coming back, and name the deduction • Automatic dimming of impossible squares, if you want the help • Pinch to zoom on the large boards • Four plush cats to collect, each with its own moods • Plays fully offline • No account, no sign-up

GatitoSudoku is free to play. You get three lives; losing a level or walking out of an unfinished one costs one, and a fresh life arrives every 25 minutes on its own. Fish are the in-game currency and buy lives, boosters and cat skins — winning levels and claiming the daily reward earn them for nothing.

It includes optional rewarded ads you choose to watch, and optional in-app purchases. Skins change how your cat looks and nothing else, and there is no booster that does the reasoning for you — a deduction game that sold you an advantage would stop being a deduction game.
