iOS Travel Map is a perfect personal travel journal for you. Drop pins on a map wherever you've been and organise visited places into trips, to show your journey on a map. All data is kept local on your device and syncs privately across your Apple devices via iCloud. Free app with total privacy - no subscriptions, no logins, no data collection, no analysis, no ads, no social sharing - just for your private enjoyment. The app supports exporting and importing your travel history as a ZIP file containing CSVs and copies of your added photos.

MAP: Interactive map with all your visited places as custom pins. Add places by pointing on the map, searching by location name (e.g. a city), or detecting locations from photos in your photo library or shared albums.

TRIPS: Group tagged places together as named trips. Show trips on the map with directional lines based on dates visited. Edit trips with custom stop ordering to fine-tune the route.

PLACES LIST: Searchable, sortable list of all your places. Sort and filter by place name, city, country, trip, or notes.

ADDING PLACES FROM YOUR PHOTOS: Import from an iCloud Shared Album - the app clusters geotagged photos by proximity and reverse-geocodes each cluster to a place name. Alternatively, browse your entire photo library plotted on a map and save any location with a single tap.

CUSTOMISE MAP PINS: 8 pin colours, 16 icons, and an optional photo thumbnail shown directly on the map.

BACKUP & RESTORE: Export your places, trips, and added photos in a single ZIP file containing a places CSV, a trip stops CSV, and the added photos. Restore from a ZIP by replacing all data, or merge with an existing library by adding missing entries only.

iCLOUD SYNC: Syncs data automatically across all your Apple devices on the same iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. No setup required. No data is shared or sent anywhere - the app works fully standalone and does not connect to any external services or backends. Total security and privacy.
