The whole map starts hidden under a fog. As you move, the fog is cleared in a circle around you, leaving a growing web of trails that shows exactly where you have been. Your own world emerges, step by step.

My Footsteps turns everyday walks into exploration. Take a new way home, turn down the street you have never walked, or cycle a detour through the park – everything leaves a trail. Over time you see the pattern: the blocks you know by heart, and the blank spots waiting for you.

EXPLORE • The fog is a map layer of its own and follows the map exactly as you zoom and pan • Clearing continues while the app is in the background, so your whole walk is captured • Choose between standard, satellite, hybrid and black & white maps • Adjust the clearing radius and the density of the fog

TODAY'S HARVEST • Pick a day or a date range and see exactly what you cleared then • Perfect after a long walk: "Today" shows today's harvest while the rest rests under the fog

HEATMAP • One tap swaps the fog for colored trails showing where you go most often • Twelve color steps from pale yellow to deep red – everyday routes glow, one-off adventures shimmer • Combine with the date selection: where did you roam last summer?

STATISTICS • See how much of every country you have explored – in percent or per mille and km² • In Sweden, also by municipality and county • Sortable columns, with a badge on the map showing the area you are in right now

YOUR MAP, YOUR EXPLORATION • Your map is stored in your own iCloud and follows you between devices • Save multiple named maps and load them back whenever you like • Erase everything and start over whenever you feel like it
