CHAC: Learn Chinese Characters

Learn Chinese characters through a training hall built for complete beginners.

CHAC teaches 327 Chinese characters in small guided lessons for complete beginners. The course includes all 246 current HSK 1 recognition characters, plus selected HSK 2 and retained 2021 curriculum cards. Meet each character in a first-read pass, connect its shape to an original visual memory cue, hear its pronunciation, and practise its English meaning before moving on.

WORKS OFFLINE, ACCOUNT OPTIONAL

Learning works without an account and your progress stays on your device by default. Optional Google or Apple sign-in lets you carry progress to another device. You can delete your account and synced progress inside the app.
