IDENTIFY Packbook works out the real name, the brand, the specs, the weight and the price. If it picks the wrong one, the other candidates are one tap away, and you can rename anything whenever you like.

PACK Pour a kit. Watch the weight. Build your camp kitchen or your climbing rack once, then pour it into any trip after that. Check things off as they go in the bag. Run Pack check before you leave and it says what is missing, keeping the things that would ruin the trip apart from the things that would just be nice to have.

SHARE Send your pack as a page this pretty. One link, your whole pack: stickers, weights, the works. Your friend taps once and the same list is in their app.

DISCOVER Real packing lists from real trips, published by other people. Open one, see every item with its weight, and take the whole list into your own app with one tap.

SHOP Tap the gear. Find where to buy. Current prices from several sellers, cheapest marked, for the country you shop in. Packbook also speaks up when you are about to buy something you already own.

ALSO Free, with no subscription and no ads. Your photos are only ever used to identify your gear, and you can turn that off. The whole app works without an account. Home Screen, Lock Screen and Control Center shortcuts open the camera. Import from your photo library, or share photos in from any other app. Works offline. Sign in and your gear follows you to a new phone. Export everything as CSV.
