Your work list, your questions and your camera in one place — none of it waits for a signal. Everything saves to the device and sends itself when you are back in range.
Site Survey is the site auditing app for cleaning contractors, facilities management companies and property services firms. Surveys arrive from your own office, your surveyors complete them on site, and they upload themselves — whether or not there is a signal where they are standing.
TRY THE WHOLE APP FIRST — NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
Tap "Show me a demonstration" on the first screen. The app fills with a worked example — a list of allocated sites, question sets, photographs, a signature and a completed submission — and every screen works exactly as it does in service. Nothing is sent anywhere, nothing you do in it reaches anyone, and it needs no account, no password and no connection at all. It runs in Airplane Mode on a handset that has never been near our network. The demonstration ends the next time the app is started.
BUILT FOR PLANT ROOMS AND BASEMENTS
Everything is written to the device first. The questions arrive with the allocation, so a survey opens in a car park with no bars, and nothing recorded is waiting on a connection. When the signal comes back the outbox empties on its own — answers first, photographs after. Nobody has to remember to do anything.
YOUR DAY, IN ORDER
The work list shows every site the office has sent, nearest first, with a coloured bar and a chip that say where each one stands: new, in progress, or waiting to be sent. Search by site or postcode, or narrow it to what is due today and overdue.
ANSWER IT ON THE SPOT
Questions are numbered, and where the office has given a set of answers the surveyor picks one rather than typing. Anything that does not apply here can be marked N/A. Answers save the moment they are touched.
PHOTOGRAPHS THAT COUNT
Where a photograph is required the card says so before Submit is reached. If one genuinely cannot be taken — a locked riser, a live area — the app records why, instead of leaving a gap somebody has to chase. Photo quality is yours to set, and each setting says what it costs in megabytes, measured against the photographs already on the device rather than a figure from a table.
A SITE THAT IS NOT ON THE LIST
Found something while you were there? Start a survey against any contract, name the site as it reads on the door, and write it up with photographs. The GPS fix travels with it so the office can place it. Or answer a published question set instead, and get the same screen as an allocated site.
WHAT IT DOES WHILE YOU WORK
- Surveys, answers, notes and photographs stored on the device and uploaded in the background
- Photographs encrypted on the device with a key derived from the surveyor's own password
- Face ID or Touch ID unlock, with the device passcode as the fallback and the password as the last resort
- More than one surveyor on a shared iPad, each with their own work and their own key
- A connection test that measures the link to your server — the only number that predicts whether a photograph will actually go
- Six languages, changeable from the sign-in screen
- Light and dark, following the phone or fixed
- Sent surveys kept for thirty days
- A one-tap diagnostic the office can ask for when something needs explaining
FOR YOUR OWN COMPANY'S WORK
Any cleaning, facilities or property services company can use Site Survey with its own sites and its own staff. We issue your company its own customer number and its own database; your office then creates a sign-in for each surveyor and sends out the work. See www.cleanlytics.co.uk for what it costs and to ask for an account.
Already work for a company that uses it? Your office will give you the customer number, the activation PIN and your sign-in.
