MAKE A STILL PHOTO MOVE

Jelly Photo estimates how far different parts of an image are from the camera, then uses that depth information to create a short horizontal camera movement. Nearby people and important foreground details remain visually anchored while the background travels farther. The result is a compact animation that adds dimension without changing a person’s expression, pose, clothing, or the objects they are holding.

START WITH THE PHOTO YOU ALREADY HAVE

Choose an image from your photo library and Jelly Photo builds its depth map privately on your iPhone. The app is designed for portraits, selfies, friends, families, pets, and everyday moments where a clear subject stands in front of a background. It can also add movement to travel photos, interiors, food, objects, and other scenes when the image contains useful depth separation.

Imported photos use an on-device depth model to interpret the scene. Photos with compatible depth can use that data. You can cancel processing.

TAKE A NEW PHOTO

Open the built-in camera when you want to capture the moment inside Jelly Photo. Switch between the back and front cameras for a portrait or selfie. On supported hardware, captured depth is used directly. When camera depth is unavailable, the app can estimate it locally from the photo instead.

PREVIEW BEFORE YOU EXPORT

Watch the depth motion immediately and adjust Depth Strength until the movement fits the image. A subtle setting can add gentle dimension to a close portrait. A stronger setting can make a clear foreground and distant background feel more pronounced. The preview shows the same core depth behavior used for export, so you can make the decision before saving.

Jelly Photo protects detected people and softly expands foreground boundaries before movement. This helps keep faces, hands, hair, clothing, and foreground silhouettes visually coherent instead of breaking into hard moving cutouts. Recognized cats and dogs near a person can be protected with the foreground as well.

QUICK, SHAREABLE OUTPUT

Tap Save to create a 1.5-second H.264 video at 30 frames per second. The clip finishes at the neutral photographed frame and is added directly to Photos. From there, use the standard iPhone share options to send it, post it, or keep it with the original memory.

PRIVATE ON-DEVICE PROCESSING

Photo analysis and depth creation run on your device. Jelly Photo does not require an account, sign-in, or cloud upload to create the effect. Your selected image is used to prepare the preview and exported clip on the iPhone.

ONE INCLUDED EXPORT AND OPTIONAL PLUS ACCESS

One successful video export is included at no charge for this app installation. The allowance is consumed only after the finished result is successfully delivered.
