Unblend Colors

Unblend takes the color differences you can't tell apart — in your photos and in the scene in front of you — and carries them over into colors you can. It's built for people who see greens much like reds and oranges, and who find themselves checking twice at a traffic light, a chart, or a rack of clothes.

Start with a single photo. Pick one from your library and the corrected version appears right away; press to switch back and forth with the original. If you like what you see, save or share the corrected copy.

The Camera tab shows the scene in front of you with correction applied, live. The video is only processed to draw it on screen, and it never leaves your device.

You can choose what the correction aims for.

On first launch, a short color check suggests settings that fit you. If the result doesn't match your experience, set it yourself with the slider — and you can change it in Settings at any time.

Privacy

Your photos, videos, and check results never leave your device. All correction happens on the device, and there is no server.

Unblend is not a medical device and does not provide a diagnosis. The color check in the app is a reference for choosing your correction settings. For an accurate examination and diagnosis, please see an eye care professional. Color vision differs from person to person, so how much the correction separates colors will differ by person and by photo.

Going ad-free (monthly subscription) removes banner and full-screen ads. Every correction feature is available whether you subscribe or not. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and you can cancel at any time in your App Store account settings.
