DateAlarm - Alarm for a Date

The iPhone's built-in Clock lets you set a time and repeat it by weekday. Ask it to ring on one particular day three months from now, and it simply can't.

DateAlarm exists to fill that gap. Pick any date, and when it arrives a real alarm wakes you — not a notification you swipe away without reading.

■ A real alarm, not a notification Built on AlarmKit in iOS 26 — the same mechanism behind the system Clock app's alarms. Silent mode and Focus won't hold it back. Ring volume follows your system Ringtone and Alerts setting. Snooze is adjustable from 1 to 60 minutes. Import your own audio as the alarm sound: wav, mp3, m4a and more, up to 30 seconds each.

■ Solar and lunar dates For birthdays and memorials kept on the lunar calendar, switch the alarm to lunar and it recalculates the same lunar month and day every year, Lunar New Year's Eve included. Repeat rules cover none, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. A monthly alarm set for the 31st falls back to the last day in shorter months; February 29 behaves the same way in non-leap years.

■ Remind as many days ahead as you want Not just a fixed 1/3/7/30. Choose any number from 2 to 365 days, and stack several at once — a heads-up 30 days out, another at 3 days, and one more on the day itself.

■ Holidays in one tap Holiday sets for 14 regions are built in: Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Germany, France and international. Add them in bulk based on your device region; they repeat every year. Lunar festivals such as Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn and Dragon Boat are already computed. You can also import the next 18 months of events from your system calendar, with duplicates skipped automatically. JSON and CSV import/export are supported.

■ Countdown timer alarm Alongside date alarms there's a standalone countdown — anywhere from 1 minute to 3 hours. Handy for cooking, naps, or dough proofing. Pause and resume straight from the Dynamic Island without reopening the app.

■ Widgets and Dynamic Island Two Home Screen sizes, three Lock Screen styles, plus a list widget that shows several alarms at once. Under a day, the small widget switches to a live hours-minutes-seconds display. Within 8 hours of the alarm it moves to the Dynamic Island, so a glance tells you how long is left.

■ Organized the easy way Custom categories and multiple tags. Pin what you check often, archive what has passed. Search, batch delete, and share any date as an image card.

■ On privacy iCloud sync is off by default. Leave it off and nothing is uploaded — the app doesn't even need a network connection at launch. Turn it on in Settings when you want your iPhone and iPad in sync. Available in English, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

Requires iOS 26 or later. Alarm permission is needed on first launch; without it, alarms cannot break through Silent mode.
