GRIDJACK is a solitaire score puzzle played on a 4×4 table at dusk. Draw from a deck of four suits — sun, moon, leaf and wave — and place sixteen cards one at a time. Every placement matters twice: cards link with their neighbors the moment they land, and every completed row, column and diagonal scores as a lane.

LINK THE LIGHTS Match a neighbor's suit, twin its rank, run in sequence, or complement to eleven — chain links together and the table starts to sing.

FILL THE LANES Ten lanes cross the table, and each closes with a flourish: pairs, straights, flushes, rainbows — and the Gridjack itself, a lane summing to exactly 21, sealed in gold.

SHAPE EACH RUN Three times per game, a draft offers a choice of modifiers from a catalog of 24 — small rule-benders that make every run its own little machine.
