Time To Leave!

Stop doing the maths in your head. Tell it when you need to arrive, and it tells you exactly when to leave — then watches the traffic until you go.

You already know when you have to be there. The hard part is working out when to leave.

Time To Leave! does that sum for you. Choose where you're going and the time you need to arrive, and it works backwards through current driving conditions to give you one number: the time to walk out the door. Then it keeps watching the road until you go.

WORKS BACKWARDS FROM YOUR ARRIVAL TIME Other apps tell you how long a drive takes. This one tells you when to leave. Set the destination, set the arrival time, and the departure time appears — calculated from traffic as it is right now, not from an average.

A COUNTDOWN YOU DON'T HAVE TO UNLOCK A Live Activity sits on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, counting down. When the countdown hits zero it says what it's called: Time To Leave! A notification arrives at the same moment, so you can put the phone down and get on with things.

IT TELLS YOU WHEN TRAFFIC TURNS The route is re-checked in the background while you're getting ready. If the drive gets meaningfully longer, you're warned early enough to leave sooner — instead of finding out when you're already behind.

SEE WHERE THE JAM ACTUALLY IS A bar splits your route into twenty segments, coloured by current conditions. Green is flowing, amber is slow, red is congested. One glance tells you whether the delay is at your end of the trip or waiting for you at the far end.

A BUFFER THAT'S YOURS Add minutes for getting ready, for finding the car, for parking at the other end, or just for peace of mind. The departure time moves with it.

HOME, WORK AND FAVOURITES Save the places you go to often and pick them in one tap. Home and Work show by name, not by street address, everywhere in the app. Recent destinations stay in the list, and you can always drop a pin anywhere on the map instead.

36 LANGUAGES The interface follows your iPhone's language automatically, and you can switch to any of the 36 from inside the app: Arabic, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.

NO ACCOUNT, NO ADS, NO TRACKING There is nothing to sign up for. No advertising, no analytics, no third-party trackers. Routes and traffic come from Apple Maps; your saved places stay on your iPhone.

A NOTE ON ESTIMATES Travel times are predictions based on traffic as it is now. Accidents and closures happen. For journeys where being late really costs — flights, trains, appointments — give yourself a margin.
