Start the timer, read a paper book, log the page you reached. pagemoth turns it into pace, time left, a finish date, and a streak — plus a card worth posting.

Reading apps are libraries. They know what you own, what you shelved, what you meant to get to. pagemoth is a stopwatch. It knows what you actually did.

Press start. Read a paper book. Type the page you reached. That's the whole interaction, and from that one number pagemoth works out how fast you read, how much of the book is left, the date you'll finish it, and how many days in a row you've kept it up.

HOW IT WORKS

Your page is already loaded when you open a book, so starting is one tap with no setup. While you read, a live segment creeps across the progress bar at your usual pace, so you can see the estimate move. When you stop, you type the page you got to — and the number you read is stamped at full size while the bar inks forward.

BUILT FOR PAPER

The metric is paper pages. One number, one unit, nothing to switch between. There are no ebooks, no audiobooks, no imports and no feed — not because they're hard, but because a tracker that measures four things well measures none of them.

Add books by search, by ISBN, by scanning the barcode on the back, or by typing the title yourself. Book data comes from Open Library, and manual entry always works when a catalogue has never heard of what you're holding.

IT KEEPS UP WITH REAL READING

The timer is a wall-clock measurement, not a ticking counter, so you can put the phone face down for two hours, take a call, or let the screen die — and the session is still right. A Live Activity counts up on your Lock Screen while you read.

Every action completes on your phone before it touches the network. Start a session on a plane, end it in a tunnel, add a book with no signal — none of it waits on anything.

Mistyped a page? Any session can be edited, and the book re-derives its progress from whatever's left. Books have a whole life, too: want to read, reading, finished, put down, read again — and putting a book down keeps every session you logged against it.

YOURS, AND PRIVATE

pagemoth is anonymous from the first launch. It makes an account on the device and nothing leaves your phone. There's no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and nothing is sold or shared.

Sign in with Apple later and your reading is claimed as it stands, not re-keyed or re-imported, so it syncs to your other device exactly as you logged it. You can delete your account from inside the app, and it takes the server's copy with it.
