Heartmarks is a local-first journal for the feelings you carry. There is no judgment here, and no pressure to feel better immediately. Choose the feeling that comes closest, notice its weight, and leave a few words—or none at all.

When you are ready, choose a thread, hold the golden needle, draw it across the opening, and slowly pull it snug. Every repair leaves a scar. It is not a flaw; it is a mark of the care you gave yourself.

With Heartmarks, you can:

• Name the moment with 8 feelings and 3 levels of emotional weight • Write a private note of up to 600 characters • Choose “Stay and listen,” “Help me untangle this,” or “Offer some comfort” • Skip the response and move directly into stitching • Complete 3, 5, or 7 stitches with 4 thread colors and styles • Revisit, delete, or clear your heartmarks • Add an optional Face ID privacy lock • Create a password-protected AES-256-GCM encrypted backup

All three gentle response styles are created on device. Heartmarks has no account, ads, analytics, or cloud sync, and it does not upload your private notes. Note text is protected in the iPhone Keychain.
