Riglocker - Gear Collection

Riglocker keeps your musical gear collection on your own device — and nowhere else.

Add a piece of gear with its photos, and the purchase price, year, serial number and maintenance history all live in one place. Everything is encrypted on the device. Your gear data is never sent to a server, and no account is required.

■ Keep the price behind Face ID • Purchase prices, maintenance costs, serial numbers and notes are masked by default • They appear only after Face ID or Touch ID approves • Leave the app and come back, and everything masks itself again • Hand your phone to someone with the photos showing and the figures hidden

■ A service history that stays with the instrument • Log string changes, overhauls, pickup swaps and neck adjustments with dates • Record who did the work and what it cost • Costs are totalled per currency — different currencies are never added together • The gear detail screen shows the maintenance total next to the purchase price

■ Gear dossier PDF • Export one item's details as an A4 PDF • Useful when selling, requesting a repair, or keeping insurance and asset records • You choose which fields appear. Private notes are never included

■ Collector cards and collection posters • Turn one instrument into a single card image you can share • Lay your whole collection out on one poster image • Choose what appears, so you can share without revealing prices

■ Display mode • A full-screen slideshow on a dark background, cycling through the gear you select • For live venues, shops and studios • Purchase prices, serial numbers and notes are never shown • The screen stays awake while the display runs

■ AI prompt generator • Builds prompts for researching used-market prices, confirming specs and eras, or drafting a listing • Copy the generated text and paste it into the AI service you use • The app never sends anything to an AI service on its own

■ Privacy • Gear data and photos are encrypted and stored on the device • EXIF data, including where a photo was taken, is stripped before saving • No server-side storage of your gear, no account, no ads, no behavioural tracking • Sharing and PDF export only ever happen when you ask for them • Verifying an in-app purchase contacts the billing platform, which receives purchase information and an anonymous ID — your gear data is never part of it
