BoxFax – Local Fax

Send and receive faxes locally through your FRITZ!Box. Import PDFs, scan documents and create neutral transmission reports.

BoxFax turns your iPhone into a convenient fax solution for a compatible FRITZ!Box. Fax transmission uses the integrated fax capability of your own FRITZ!Box on the local network. No external fax service and no separate IP telephone are required.

BoxFax is completely free. There is no transmission limit, in-app purchase or subscription.

Requirements: A compatible FRITZ!Box with its integrated fax function configured and a locally reachable CAPI interface. The iPhone and FRITZ!Box must be on the same local network. Fax reception and a corresponding FRITZ!NAS folder are required for inbox import. Telephone or fax charges may apply according to your telephone provider.

Credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain and are never transmitted to an external fax service.
