OnlyReal Photo & Video Capture

Restore trust in what you see on the Internet.

Anyone can now produce a photograph or a video of something that never happened. The real cost of that is not the fakes themselves — it is the doubt that settles over everything genuine. OnlyReal Photo & Video Capture exists so that what you actually saw can still be believed.

Your device already has a camera. What it does not have is a record of what that camera actually captured, kept in a form other people can check. OnlyReal fills this void.

Photos and video taken here are sealed at the moment they are recorded. The file is fingerprinted, the time and the place are kept with it, and every copy you share afterwards carries a visible OnlyReal Verified mark and a short reference code. Anyone who later comes across that photo or video can enter the code, see the original, and judge for themselves whether the copy in front of them has been altered.

We are not asking anyone to take our word for it. That is the whole point — proof a person can check, rather than a badge they are asked to trust.

HOW IT WORKS

Capture. Take a photo or record video in the app. Provenance can only be established at the moment something is recorded, which is why capture happens here rather than at upload; a file brought in from elsewhere has no origin to attest.

DarkRoom. Every capture lands in your DarkRoom, a private collection point for photos and videos you have not selected for release, with an optional copy on your device. Nothing is posted, published or shared anywhere until you decide it should be.

Share. When you choose to share, OnlyReal produces a copy carrying the verified mark and its reference code, ready for wherever you already post. Your original is never re-encoded or altered — it stays with you as the authoritative version.

Verify. Enter any OnlyReal reference code to check a copy against the original it came from.

WHAT YOU GET

• Photos and video sealed with tamper-evident provenance
• A visible verified mark and reference code on every copy you share
• The time and place of capture kept with the file, so it can attest where it was taken
• A private DarkRoom — nothing is public by default
• Verification open to anyone holding the code
• Free to use, with no in-app purchases and no third-party tracking

ONE REAL PERSON, ONE REAL VOICE

Provenance is only as strong as the identity behind it, so the two are built together. An OnlyReal account is tied to a real person through phone verification: one person, one account, and no way to farm accounts in order to manufacture proof.

PART OF ONLYREAL

OnlyReal is a verified-human platform where real is the standard. This app is its capture surface. It also includes a picture tour of a portion of the wider platform — OnlyReal Community and OnlyReal Exchange, and reviews written by people verified to have been on site. Those screens are labeled previews of the full app rather than features of this one, and the participation shown in them is representative rather than current membership.

Requires an account and phone verification. Precise location is used to record where a capture was taken. Promotions shown in the app come from OnlyReal.
