One a day, a better world.
Thirty seconds before bed. Write one small good thing from today. Each day you write lights a mark on your calendar, and the streak grows. No account, no ads.
One Good Deed is a diary for one small kind thing a day — and only one.
You gave up your seat. You picked up a piece of litter. You said a real thank-you.
Small things are exactly the ones you forget if you don't write them down.
■ One a day, thirty seconds
You can only write today's entry, and only up to 100 characters, so you finish before you can overthink it.
Add hashtags and you can look back later at what kind of good things you did most.
■ A mark lights up your calendar
Every day you write lights a mark. The further the month goes, the fuller your calendar gets.
The mark follows your palette: cherry blossom in spring, new leaves in summer, autumn leaves in autumn, snow in winter. (Choosing among the four, and having it follow the season automatically, are part of Pro.)
■ Your streak stays with you
Current and longest streaks and your all-time total are counted for you.
Three days, seven, fourteen — reach a milestone and the app celebrates with you.
■ Recap
The month's count and your current, longest, and all-time figures are free.
The breakdown by hashtag, your streak milestones, and every past month are part of Pro.
■ For the days nothing comes to mind
Pick from 30 suggestions. The one you choose fills in the entry and adds a category tag.
■ Also
- One optional reminder a day, at a time you choose (free)
- Choose your palette (and the calendar mark that goes with it) from the four seasons, or have it follow the season automatically — both are part of Pro
- Export and import your entries as JSON (Pro)
- Japanese and English
■ Privacy
The text of your entries and your hashtags are stored only on your device and are never sent to a server.
No account is required. There are no ads.
The app does send anonymous usage statistics to help us improve it: which features were used, along with a few setting values such as the fact that you turned the reminder on and the time you set it to.
It never includes the text of your entries or the content of your hashtags.
