Every morning, Layer turns the hour-by-hour forecast into two clear answers: what to put on, and what to bring. Then it learns from your day, so tomorrow's answer fits you better.

WHAT TO BRING The part other apps skip. The day changes while you're out, and you can't go home for the sweater. So Layer packs your carry list, with a reason on every line:

• Umbrella — rain 2–5pm • Scarf — 44° after 8pm • Sunglasses — UV 7 midday

IT LEARNS HOW YOU RUN Two people at the same bus stop in the same 58° need different clothes.

Rate your day each evening — one tap, fifteen seconds. Within a couple of weeks, Layer knows you run six degrees warmer than most people, or that wind cuts right through you, and it dresses you for it.

INSIGHTS: SEE WHAT IT KNOWS No black box. The Insights screen shows the model Layer has built of you:

• Your comfort record — how often the pick was just right • Your warmth trend over the last 90 days • Your wind, sun, and humidity sensitivity • Gaps in your closet that keep costing you comfort

HOME SCREEN WIDGETS On most days the widget is all you need. It moves through four states with your day:

• Morning — today's outfit and the full carry list • Midday — the next change and when ("jacket off around noon") • Evening — rate your day with one tap, right on the widget • Night — tomorrow's forecast and tomorrow's plan

LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS Glance on your way out the door: a two-line brief, a one-line summary, or a carry count — before you even unlock.

LIVE ACTIVITY IN THE DYNAMIC ISLAND Heading out for the day? Start "Follow my day" and Layer rides along in the Dynamic Island: what you're wearing, what you're carrying, and the next weather change — visible the whole time you're out.

IT KNOWS ABOUT YOUR WEEK Tell Layer your work days, hours, and dress code. Work-day picks stay inside the dress code; weekends open everything back up. The carry list covers you from leaving to getting home.

IT TELLS YOU WHEN IT CAN'T HELP If it's 28° and the warmest thing in your closet is a hoodie, Layer says so — it will never quietly hand you an outfit that isn't enough.
