Record the sound of your night with one tap, then look back at the whole night in the morning. SnoreTrace is a snore recorder that never connects to the internet, so your recordings stay on your device. No account, no sign-up.

■ See the whole night on a timeline ・A graph of how the volume changed through the night ・Snore count, total snoring time and loudest moment ・Detected segments are listed, and wherever a clip was saved you can play the actual audio (up to 200 clips per night)

■ Fix the detections yourself ・Reclassify anything that was not snoring as "Other sound" ・Swipe to delete rows you do not need ・Your reclassifications feed back into the detection adjustment ・Detection uses a loudness threshold and the rhythm of the sound, with three sensitivity levels ・In "Fine-tune detection" you can watch the live level, the quiet of your room and the decision line on one screen, and move that line in 1 dB steps

■ Starts when you say, stops when you say ・One tap to start, one tap to stop. No confirmation dialog when you stop ・For 60 seconds after stopping you can resume into the same night ・If a call or an alarm interrupts, everything up to that point is kept ・If the app closes unexpectedly, the recording is restored on the next launch

■ Four screens, nothing more ・Tonight, Morning report, Trends, Settings. While a night is still unread, the app opens on the morning report

■ Night-to-night trends and tags ・Compare the snore index of each night on a 7-day or 30-day bar chart ・Tag what you tried that night, right from the Tonight tab ・"Make this my default" keeps the same tags pre-selected on the nights that follow; leave it off and your picks are used for that night only ・Averages for nights with a tag and nights without it are shown side by side (once there are at least 2 nights with the tag and 2 nights without it; this is a summary of what you recorded, and it does not show causes or effects)

■ Privacy ・The app has no networking code, so recordings are never sent anywhere ・No account or sign-up ・Sounds from others in the room may also be captured

■ About the purchase You can record 1 night before you buy anything. You get the full morning report for those nights, and nights you have recorded are never hidden. A single purchase lets you record every night. There are no further charges. A night that ended in under 10 minutes does not count. Restore Purchases is available in Settings and on the purchase screen.
