WHAT IT IS NOT Earthquakes cannot be predicted — by anyone. QuakeLens never claims otherwise. What it measures is elevated statistical probability: periods when small-quake activity is unusually high, similar to how seismologists describe aftershock risk. Most alerts are not followed by a damaging quake, and quiet activity does not mean safe. QuakeLens is a lens on the data, not a crystal ball.
