Trap.io is a modern take on the classic area-capture arcade game. Every level asks one question: how much of the screen can you take before the balls take you?

HOW IT PLAYS Swipe across open space and a wall grows out from your finger in both directions until it reaches an edge. Any region left without a ball inside it becomes yours. Reach the level's target percentage and you are through to the next one.

The catch: while a wall is still building, it is fragile. One ball touching it shatters the wall and costs you a life. You have three.

50 LEVELS BUILT BY HAND, THEN ENDLESS The first 50 levels are designed one at a time, each with its own mix of balls, its own target and its own rhythm - room to breathe, then pressure, then a boss round every tenth level. Past 50, a generator takes over and never runs dry. It is seeded, so level 812 is the same level for you as it is for everyone else, every single time.

FIVE KINDS OF BALL Normal holds a steady line. Fast moves half again as quick. Heavy is slower but far bigger, so it leaves you much less room to work in. Splitter breaks into two the first time you capture an area. Ghost fades in and out on an off-beat you can never quite time.

THREE STARS, THREE STANDARDS One star for finishing the level. One for finishing without losing a life. One for finishing inside the wall budget. Getting through is easy. Getting all three is not.

MAKE IT LOOK LIKE YOURS Coins unlock 5 ball skins, 6 complete themes, 4 wall styles, 4 builder heads and 4 area fill effects. The themes are not recolours - each one rebuilds the whole screen, down to the colour of every single ball type.

POWERS FOR THE TIGHT SPOTS Slow-Mo drops everything to 30% speed for five seconds. Extra Life gives you one more, even above the normal cap. Shield absorbs your next hit and breaks instead of you.
