No ads, ever. No data sold. One app for the person tracking and the person who wants to help — and you decide, item by item, what they get to see.

One of you tracks a body in detail. The other wants to help but never knows how. Today's You is one app for both of you.

It works on its own, too. Logging, predictions, the calendar and your archive all run without a partner linked. Link up later, whenever you want to.

■ What we promise up front

· No advertising. Not even on the free tier. · We never sell or hand your records to anyone. · Not a single analytics or tracking tool inside.

■ For the person tracking

· Log a period start, ongoing day or end with one tap. See your average cycle and when the next one is expected. · Eight moods — Okay, Good, On edge, Down, Anxious, Drained, Irritated, Overwhelmed. Real words, not weather metaphors. · 21 symptoms, each at mild, moderate or severe. · Gynecology records — cystitis, vaginitis, itching, discharge changes, unexpected bleeding, whether you saw a doctor or are on medication, plus free-form notes. Handy to pull up at your next appointment. · Sleep hours and quality, what you're craving, and notes. · Log whether you moved today, and how — running, yoga, Pilates, weights, or type your own. · Log an ovulation test result (positive or negative) for a sharper estimate of ovulation. · A nudge two days before your period is due, and again if it runs late. You choose whether the lock screen says what it's about. · Search back through everything in your log, and see your own patterns in the report. · Mark anniversaries on the calendar — they repeat automatically every year. Intimate days can show as a small heart too (off by default, this device only).

■ For the partner

· Today's state, on a single card. · Not "day 2 of her period" but "bring a warm drink and a heat pack" — something you can actually do right now. · Read what shifts in the body and the mood across the cycle. · Keep your own notes by date for what you mean to do. Only you see them. · Send a short message. We've written the openers so you don't stall on a blank screen.

■ You decide what gets shared

· Cycle, symptoms, mood, sleep, cravings, gynecology records and notes — each switched on or off by you. · Gynecology records and notes are off by default. · "Hide everything for today" blanks the lot for a day, in one tap. · Anything switched off never leaves the server. It isn't merely hidden in the app. · A partner only ever sees records from the day you linked onward. · Unlink and they lose access to everything, immediately.

■ Pick how it looks

Seven themes: Aqua Cream, Golden Olive, Mint, Linen Blue, Ivory Beige, Lilac Pink and Mono. The four calendar states differ in brightness as well as hue, so they stay apart for anyone who finds colours hard to tell.

■ What this app does not do

Predictions are estimates from what you've logged, not medical advice. Don't rely on them for contraception or family planning. If something feels wrong, talk to a healthcare professional.

Available in Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese and Spanish. If the two of you use different languages, each of you reads your own.
