WHY THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT Most food apps solve the moment you buy: scan a receipt, scan a barcode. Freezer Fox solves the moment you freeze and the moment you eat — home-cooked, unpackaged, no barcode anywhere on it. There is no barcode scanner here, and there never will be.

SAY IT INSTEAD OF TYPING IT Tap the microphone and say what you are freezing. The transcript lands in the name field and is always editable before you save. It runs on your device where your language supports it, so a freezer in a basement with no signal still works.

Freezer Fox shows a best-quality date and never claims that food has expired. When that date passes the item is not deleted and there is no red alarm — it simply says the food is past its best and is still safe. An app that makes you throw away safe food is not a food waste app.
