Pick a feeling, take a picture, ask a question or fill a bucket list. Seconds later it is on your partner's home screen, lock screen — and theirs is waiting on yours.

Couple Moments is a small, private place for two.

Pick how you feel, add a few words, and it's on your partner's phone in seconds — on their home screen, their lock screen and their wrist.

JUST THE TWO OF YOU No accounts, no profiles, no feed, no strangers. You invite one person, and that's who your couple is. Everything lives in your own iCloud — we never see any of it.

SAY IT HOWEVER YOU LIKE Choose from feelings like In love, Missing you or Just wanna say — or invent your own with any emoji you want. Custom feelings are shared, so your partner can use them too. Add a message, a photo, a video, a Memoji or a sticker. Or take a picture there and then — it goes straight to them and is kept nowhere else, not even in your photo library.

OPEN ON WHAT MATTERS TODAY The home screen answers what's true right now: today's anniversary, birthday or plans, the last thing your partner sent, how long you've been together, and what's coming up. Choose how far ahead it looks — a day, a week or a month.

ASK EACH OTHER SOMETHING Ask a question and get an answer back, either from a few options you set or in their own words. One question each at a time, so it stays a conversation rather than a list of things owed.

SHOW THEM WHERE YOU ARE Tap "I'm here" and your moment carries the place with it. Your partner sees the map right in the chat and can open it in Maps. Location is only ever taken the moment you send — never in the background.

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN AND LOCK SCREEN Widgets in every size show your partner's latest feeling, so you see it without opening anything. Another counts the days you've been together.

ON YOUR WRIST The Apple Watch app shows what they just sent and lets you send a feeling straight back.

MAKE IT YOURS Give yourself a nickname, choose your own bubble and background colours, and set the app to dark, light, or whatever your phone is doing.

PLAN THINGS TOGETHER AND SEE THE HISTORY AT A GLANCE A Calendar to browse your whole history month by month and tap any day to see what happened. Add plans — dinner, a trip, a booking — with a place, a time and a reminder. Search for the location the way you would in Calendar, and open it in Maps later.

REMEMBER THE DAYS THAT MATTER Set the day you got together and add both your birthdays. You're each reminded the day before and on the morning itself, and the day is marked above your moments when it arrives.

CALL EACH OTHER OR LEAVE A VIDEO MESSAGE AS MOMENT Add the number or Apple ID you take FaceTime calls on, and a FaceTime tab appears for your partner. Audio or video, one tap. Can't reach them? Record a short video from the FaceTime tab and it arrives as a moment, with the video attached.

SHARE FROM PHOTOS Couple Moments appears in the share sheet. Send a photo or video without opening the app first.
