Your location coordinates never leave your phone. Ride Guardian is opt-in; when it is on and the live AI voice is active, your destination name and estimated arrival are sent so the caller can mention them naturally. With Ride Guardian off, nothing about your trip is sent.

On devices that support on-device AI, the conversation runs entirely on your phone. Otherwise Safety+ sends what you say to SlipAway's own relay to generate the caller's reply.
