A quick first-run setup asks about your experience, guitar and goal. GuitarHarbor then starts with posture, tuning and your first chord. Guided lessons show exactly where your fingers go, state one concrete practice task and finish with one practical next step. The optional on-device coach compares heard chord sound and strum timing while clearly showing uncertainty, so an unclear chord or noisy room is never presented as a certain mistake.

PLAY 80 ORIGINAL PRACTICE ARRANGEMENTS TWO WAYS Search or filter the original catalog, use Coach mode for listening and feedback, or choose pressure-free Play mode to follow the chords and strumming without scoring. The bundled catalog contains original GuitarHarbor practice material, not recordings, lyrics or tablature from commercial songs. Future catalog content is added only when it is licensed or verified public domain.

BUILD YOUR OWN CHORD ROUTES Pro users can enter supported chord symbols, tuning, capo, tempo and strumming pattern, then practise with feedback. A rights confirmation is required. Personal progressions are saved in local app data and are not sent by GuitarHarbor; the app never searches for or imports matching lyrics, tabs or audio.

OPTIONAL HARO TEACHER After an explicit consent screen, you can type a guitar-learning question to Haro. The bounded question is routed through GuitarHarbor to OpenRouter and xAI with zero-data-retention and provider data collection disabled. Contact-like text is removed before processing. Haro never receives microphone audio or local practice history, stores no chat content on GuitarHarbor’s server and can be turned off or have its pseudonymous quota record deleted in the app.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN Microphone listening is optional and requested only when you start it. Audio is analysed live on your device and is never recorded, saved or uploaded. No conventional sign-in, ads, tracking or analytics SDK.

GuitarHarbor Pro unlocks all 120 core lessons, the remaining original catalog and private chord progressions.
