① A 3-minute refresher before you meet Open someone's page and instantly see when and where you last met, what you talked about, and what you wanted to bring up next.

② Recording takes 30 seconds The only required field is a name. Jot down the date, place, and what you talked about. Check off "things to talk about next" once you've actually talked about them.

③ Find people even with a vague memory "I forget their name, but we talked about Okinawa" — search across names, readings, nicknames, affiliations, tags, and the content of your notes, all at once.

④ See who you're meeting today, first thing in the morning Add "Lunch with Alex" to your calendar, and Alex appears at the top of your Home screen that day. Just open their page to review your last conversation before you meet. Your calendar is only ever read — nothing is saved in Matane or sent anywhere.

⑤ Birthday and "time to reach out" reminders Get a nudge 3 days before someone's birthday, and again on the day. Set a cadence like "weekly" or "monthly" for anyone, and Matane will tell you when it's time to check in.

⑥ Keep the memory with a photo Attach a photo from the day you met. Your album organizes them by month automatically, and Matane will remind you what happened "on this day" a year ago.
