StrideTrail is a step counter that puts privacy first. Open it and today's steps are right there — no account, no sign-up. Every step stays on this phone and in your own Health app.

· Today dashboard — a big progress ring with live-ticking steps, plus distance, calories and active minutes at a glance · Daily goal & streaks — hit your goal to light up the day and keep the streak going · Week / month / year charts — browse your whole history freely, goal days highlighted in color, tap any day for its details · Health sync — optionally import your step history so you can see a full year of charts on day one, and optionally write calorie estimates back to Health · Widgets — small and medium Home Screen rings plus a Lock Screen ring · 12 theme colors — all of them open, switch whenever you like · No GPS — steps come from the iPhone's built-in motion coprocessor, with almost no extra battery drain

Every feature is free. There are no locked features, no subscription and no trial period: step counting, the complete chart history, goals and streaks, daily reminders, Health sync, all widgets and all theme colors are available from the start.

A banner ad is shown at the bottom of the screen. If you would rather not see it, a one-time "Remove ads" purchase hides it. That purchase does not unlock anything new, because nothing was locked in the first place.

Privacy: StrideTrail has no account and no server of ours. Your steps and Health records stay on this device and in your own Health app — they are never uploaded and never used for advertising. Every feature works offline; the app goes online only to fetch the banner ad at the bottom of the screen. It does not track you and never asks for ATT permission. Motion and Health permissions are both optional, and basic step counting keeps working if you decline.
