If speaking isn't possible — a quiet room, a sleeping house, a sore throat — type it instead. There is always a way through. This is a habit, not a lock.

A COMPLETE BIBLE, OFFLINE

Underneath both mechanics is a real Bible app. The full text ships inside the app, so it works with no connection at all — search, cross-references, highlights, notes, bookmarks, and the day's verse.

Three translations, all public domain, each with its attribution carried in the app: the Berean Standard Bible, the World English Bible, and 성경전서 개역한글판. The app is fully translated into English and Korean and follows your iPhone's language.

WHAT IS FREE

The Bible reader is free and stays free. Reading, search, highlights, notes, bookmarks and the daily verse are not behind the subscription and are not scheduled to be. Scripture is not a feature to be metered.

With Him Plus adds the alarm and the Focus Shield. Monthly or annual; the price and the period are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm anything.

YOUR VOICE STAYS ON YOUR PHONE

Reading aloud is matched by Apple's on-device speech recogniser. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted — there is no server that could receive it. Your highlights, notes, alarms and reading history stay on the device too. No account is required to use anything, no advertising, no tracking.

One honest note: iOS lets you force-quit any app, this one included. No alarm can be made impossible to escape, and an app that claims otherwise is telling you something you will disprove by the second day. What this one does is put a verse in the half-second where the tap used to go.
