Lockana is a Japanese vocabulary widget for the iPhone Lock Screen and Home Screen. It shows one JLPT N5 or N4 word - kanji, reading, and English meaning - and rotates to a new word every 15 minutes. There is no app to open and nothing to remember to do. Your Lock Screen does the showing up.

Every placed widget shows the same word at the same moment. Lock Screen and Home Screen never disagree, and checking your phone twice in the same 15 minutes shows the same word - the rotation runs on the clock, not on your attention.
