Most scanners stop at food. PureScan reads cosmetics too, against a database of around 5,000 INCI ingredients — so the same question you ask about a yoghurt works on a shampoo.

BUILT FOR YOUR BODY, NOT AN AVERAGE ONE

Tell us your allergies, conditions and diet once. From then on the score is calculated for you: a product that is fine in general can still be wrong for you, and the app says so. Add family profiles to track a child or partner separately, with their own allergens and their own numbers.

A REAL PORTION, NOT AN ABSTRACT 100 g

Nutrition is published per 100 g, which is what makes products comparable and not what anyone eats. Pick the label's own serving or the pack size and the daily figures answer for the amount actually in your hand.

Scanning is free and unlimited. So is the full breakdown — score, positives, negatives, additives, nutrition — and every allergen and health warning. Safety information is never behind a subscription.

WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM

Product information comes from Open Food Facts and Open Beauty Facts, community databases built by volunteers. That means coverage is good but not complete, and entries can be out of date. When something is missing, the app says so rather than guessing.

IMPORTANT

PureScan is an information tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent anything, and it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, pharmacist or dietitian. If you have a food allergy, always read the physical package — manufacturers reformulate products without database updates.

SUBSCRIPTION

PureScan Premium is available as an auto-renewing subscription.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID on confirmation. It renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it. Prices are shown in your local currency before you confirm.
