How it works

1. Open the app and choose: are you naming a feeling, or a thought?
2. Type it — "overwhelmed," "I'm not good enough," "anxious about tomorrow," anything.
3. Set the intensity.
4. Pop the bubbles. Watch it go.

Why popping works

Affelion Pop is built on simple, well-studied ideas from behavioral psychology:

• Affect labeling — the act of naming an emotion measurably reduces its intensity in the brain.
• Cognitive defusion — a core technique from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) that helps you see a thought as just a thought, not a fact you have to obey.
• Externalization — turning an internal experience into something physical (a bubble you can see and pop) creates just enough distance to feel lighter.
