Bike Assistant tracks every part on every bike by the kilometer, so you know what's worn, what's due next, and what can wait. No spreadsheet, no guessing, no "I think I changed that in spring".

You need a Strava account. Your bikes and rides come in from Strava, and that is the only way in. Without it there is nothing here for the app to show you. Create a bike in Strava and it lands here with its rides and distances. From then on every kilometer flows onto the parts you put on it.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Connect Strava, and your bikes and rides import themselves.
2. Add the parts you care about, with brand and expected lifespan.
3. Get a nudge before something is due, instead of after it's ruined.

YOUR WHOLE FLEET ON ONE SCREEN See at a glance which bike is dialled in, which one could use some love, and what service is coming up. Open a bike for every component on it, its mileage, and how much life it has left.

CHAIN WAX, TRACKED PROPERLY Log wax cycles or drip top-ups. See the kilometers since the last wax, get reminded when the next one is due, and keep a complete wax history per chain. Waxing a whole batch at once? Record the batch in one go. And running several chains in rotation on the same bike is the normal case here, not an edge case.

PARTS THAT KNOW THEIR OWN AGE Chains, cassettes, chainrings, cranksets, bottom brackets, brake pads, tyres: each with brand, expected lifespan and a wear status that updates itself as you ride. Move a part to another bike, retire it, or bring an old one back into service. The mileage follows the part, not the bike.

TUBELESS SEALANT ON THE CALENDAR Sealant doesn't dry out by distance, it dries out by time. Set a refill interval in days per tyre, record fresh sealant or a top-up, and let the app keep the clock. It keeps counting while the bike hangs in the cellar.

TWO-TAP SERVICE LOG Quick Service logs a wax, a sealant top-up or a chain swap from anywhere in the app. Backdating is expected, not an afterthought: you did the work in the garage, you log it on the sofa.

REMINDERS THAT ARRIVE IN TIME Push notifications when a chain needs waxing, when a service comes due, or when a part reaches the end of its expected life. Everything also lands in an in-app inbox, so nothing is lost behind a dismissed banner.

WHAT BIKE ASSISTANT IS NOT No training analysis, no power curves, no social feed, no leaderboards. Your data is only ever shown to you. This app is about the bike, not the ride.

WHAT YOU NEED A Strava account, and the free tier is fine. Your bikes and rides come in from Strava, and that is the only way in. Bike Assistant only ever reads from Strava: it never posts to your feed and never touches your activities.
