Ratings on every runner in every Australian race, and a public scoreboard of what those ratings picked against what actually won.
EquoRank rates every runner in every Australian race on one transparent rubric, then publishes what it picked against what actually won.
It is analytics, not a tip line. It never takes bets and never links to a wagering service.
WHAT IT DOES
Today
The day's card for any state — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart, Canberra, Darwin. Meetings, race numbers, jump times, distance, track condition, and the highest-rated runner in each race with its Rating. Yesterday's results sit on the same strip, so you can look back as easily as forward.
Top Picks
The highest-rated runner in every race that could be rated, feature meetings first. A race we could not rate has no pick — the app says so instead of putting up a name to fill the space.
Race card
The full field, ranked, with the Rating beside every runner, jockey and trainer. Swipe between races in the meeting. Once a race is run, first, second and third are marked on the same card.
Record
Every pick, scored. Top-pick and top-3 strike rate for the whole record and broken down by race day, filterable by state. Every pick was recorded before its race was run and is shown whether it won or lost. One pick per race — always the highest-rated runner, never a shortlist.
Tracks
Follow the tracks you care about. See how many races we hold for each one and when it last raced.
Talk
One national room for people reading the same card. Sign in to post.
Notifications
An optional reminder before a race you are following jumps, an alert if a runner we picked is scratched late, and one summary when the day's results are in.
WHAT A RATING IS
A Rating is a score from a published rubric — points for things like winning at this track, over this distance, on this going, and how the jockey and trainer are actually striking. The weightings were measured on past races and checked against races the model had never seen, not chosen by hand.
A Rating is not a percentage chance of winning, and it is not a prediction. Higher-rated runners win more often than lower-rated ones. In most races the top-rated runner still does not win, and the Record tab exists so you can see that for yourself rather than take our word for it.
Every factor is labelled either a measured fact or a model input, so you always know which part of a number is history and which part is judgement.
WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM
Published Australian race fields and results, plus our own archive of every result we have collected. No tipsters, no bookmakers, no odds — nobody else's opinion is folded into the number.
INFORMATIONAL ONLY
EquoRank is an analytics tool. It does not take bets, handle money, quote odds, or link to any wagering service. Nothing in it is betting advice, and no outcome is promised.
