Naval Battleship, reimagined. Ten by ten, five ships each, and a neon ocean between you and the enemy fleet.

Call a square. A rocket climbs off your deck, arcs across the water and comes down where you pointed it. A hit means you fire again — a miss hands the sea to your opponent. Ships burn where you struck them and roll over when they finally go down.

CLASSIC RULES, PLAYED STRAIGHT The fleet is 5-4-3-3-2. You place it yourself, square by square, or let the deck do it for you. No hull shoots further than any other, and every match is decided by where you aim.

ELEVEN POWER UPS Equip up to two before battle. Sonar and radar hunt for contacts, aircraft scout the grid, torpedoes and carpet bombs reshape an attack, a decoy protects your real fleet, and repair or Last Stand can keep you alive. Activity raises your level; Credits earned in battles acquire available powers and restock their charges.

PLAY A REAL CAPTAIN Quick Match looks for someone at sea and sends in a bot if nobody answers, so a battle always starts. Challenge friends and contacts through Game Center invitations.

FLEETS EARNED BY PLAYING Every hull is a voxel model made for this game: eight complete cosmetic collections of five ships, from Atlantic Command's grey steel through Viking longships, Age of Sail men-of-war, bronze-rammed Mediterranean galleys, a haunted armada and alien vessels. Battles earn XP, XP raises your player level, and clearly marked levels unlock each complete fleet. Every fleet plays by the same rules.

A SEA WORTH LOOKING AT Five arenas, each a stone platform rising out of its own ocean — a neon command deck, a frozen fjord, Poseidon's arena, a haunted abyss and an alien landing platform. Weather rolls in and clears mid-match. Whales surface between salvos. Islands ring the horizon and the idle fleet circles them.

SOMETHING TO CLIMB Thirteen officer ranks from Cadet to Ocean Legend. Thirty badges mirrored as Game Center achievements. Seventy-eight voxel captains to earn. Daily and weekly missions, a global ladder, and a battle report after every match that tells you exactly what you did well.

PLAY YOUR WAY There is nothing to sign up for. Game Center signs you in with the account already on your iPhone and powers invitations, achievements and rankings. No in-app purchases and no advertising. Credits are won in battles and missions, never sold. Every AI battle works in airplane mode; only real captains need a connection.
