EXAM FACTS The Series 79 exam has 75 scored multiple-choice questions plus 10 unscored pretest questions, and candidates are allowed 2 hours 30 minutes. Candidates must also pass the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam to register as an Investment Banking Representative.
