Rounds, Alerts & Countdowns
Link several videos at once, skip in 3-second steps, and pin a memo to the exact moment. Record detail now splits view and edit, and the free video limit goes further.
Battle Timer keeps street dance battles running on time — jams, cyphers, prelims, and finals. And when the battle is over, it keeps the record.
Set your rounds, dancers, and seconds per turn. A giant on-screen number counts down so everyone on the floor and in the crowd can read it at a glance.
THREE MODES
• Battle — rounds and turns for jams, prelims, and finals
• Practice — repeat drills at your own pace
• Cypher — no rounds, just turn time, with shuffle to pick who's next
ON THE FLOOR
• Set round count, dancers, seconds per dancer, and prep time
• Add "time left" alerts so dancers know when to bring it home
• Voice announcements: battle start, a 5-4-3-2-1 countdown near the end of each turn, round call-outs, and finish
• Announcements play OVER your music — they never pause or duck what the DJ is playing
• Dark, high-contrast interface built for stage lighting and quick glances
AFTER THE BATTLE
• Every session is saved automatically — browse it as a list or a calendar
• Write notes on a session while it's fresh
• Link videos from your library to a session and jump straight to the moment you care about
• Add notes at an exact timestamp in a video and see them appear as it plays
• Log sessions by hand for practice that didn't run on the timer
• Share a session by QR or link so your crew can load the same setup
FREE AND PRO
Everything you need to run a battle is free: all three modes, the full timer, alerts, voice announcements, and your last 30 days of history.
Battle Timer Pro unlocks the rest — your full history archive, unlimited notes and video links, recording announcements in a real voice (yours, your teacher's, your crew's), random call-outs during turns, saved dancer names, and backup to iCloud so a new phone doesn't mean starting over.
PRIVACY
Battle Timer works offline. No account, no ads, no analytics, no data collection. The microphone is used only if you choose to record your own announcement voice, and those recordings stay on your device. Backup, if you turn it on, goes to your own iCloud — never to us.
Voice announcements are in English. The app interface follows your device language (English, Korean, Japanese).
